Welcome

Film lovers take warning, there's a fire in the sky at CTFF . Take a minute to enjoy some photos and 2011 highlights.

The CT Film Festival kicked off its 2011 season at The Warner Theatre on February 4 – 6 with bells and whistles and featured more than 75 feature, documentary and short films from around the world. And, despite significant snow-fall and torrential ice storms, enthusiastic audiences flocked to the Union Savings Bank - Opening Night area premiere and after party for the 2010 CTFF Connecticut Grown Award Winning feature film: “Harvest”, starring Academy Award nominees Robert Loggia and Barbara Barrie as well as Tony® Award Winner Victoria Clark, Arye Gross and newcomer Jack Carpenter and featured Oscar® Nominee Original Music by Grammy Award Winner Duncan Sheik and David Poe. Harvest won numerous awards in the festival circuit including CTFF’s “Best Connecticut Grown Film”! The screening was followed by a high energy reception in the beautiful Art Deco lobby of The Warner Theatre featuring the epicurean delights from Executive Chef, Michael Bick’s “Some Things Fishy Catering” and beverages from Connecticut’s very own independent craft brewer: Thomas Hooker Beer.
