To submit your film to the Connecticut Film Festival, we request that you fill out the attached submission form and send the entry form, your DVD (NTSC) screener, submission fee and support materials to:

Film Competition

The Connecticut Film Festival has joined forces with Red Carpet Refs dot com to produce this years short film competition. The rules couldn’t be easier and the rewards are grande! Here are the categories:Best Mocumentary, Best Documentary, Best PSA, Best Filmed and Edited On A Mobil Device, Best Music Video, Funniest Film, Most Clever, Most Dramatic

To show us your shorts: Please submit a 3-5 minute short of your choosing. Your short can be new or old, and it doesn’t matter if you’re an experienced, beginner or student filmmaker, cause ANYONE can enter. Selected films will be screened at 2:30pm on April 29 at The Palace Theatre in Danbury. Winners from the categories below will be awarded handsomely. And, their films will be available for viewing at www.RedCarpetRefs.com and www.ctfilmfest.com. Award winning shorts will also be screened at upcoming CTFF events.

Submissions are $28.00 and include 4 tickets to the Sunday screening event. (MOV files only. The files will be played during the screening from a hard drive.)

The Red Carpet Refs will be judging all submissions and their decision is final. You will be notified within approximately one day of your submission if your film is accepted and if it is going to be screened on April 29. Deadline for submissions is 12:00 midnight April 28th
