The Green - Screening With Caught

The Green
9:00pm Friday, April 27 At The Bethel Cinema

Michael Gavin and his partner Daniel have traded life in New York City for the charm of Connecticut’s shoreline. An English teacher at a private high school, Michael and his partner think they can live a simple domestic existence adhering to an unspoken survival code: don't speak up, don't make trouble.
Michael’s world is turned upside down when he's accused of engaging in 'inappropriate behavior' with a male student. When the boy runs away from home, his mother’s mercenary boyfriend decides to capitalize on the school's culpability in the alleged affair.
With everything in jeopardy, Michael must confront the suspicions of his co-workers, the latent homophobia of his friends and neighbors, and Daniel's doubts about his innocence after the investigation reveals a secret from his past.
Caught -  is a short dramatic film directed by Elizabeth Page and written by Lori Martini. Lori plays a baseball fanatic character named Hannah. Despite Hannah’s efforts, she can't seem to catch a break or win the affection and respect of her mother or her manipulative, scheming brother. Hannah manages to catch some solace on the ball field where she forgets about her reality, but eventually the dysfunction and strife in her family comes to a head at her sanctuary, home plate. Here, Hannah must make some tough decisions, and finally take matters into her own hands.
